House petition reaches over two-hundred signatures for Epstein files
"Just this morning, House Democrats released more emails showing that (President Donald) Trump knew more about (Jeffrey) Epstein's abuses than he previously acknowledged," Grijalva said during her swearing-in ceremony.
"I will sign the discharge petition right now to release the Epstein files. Justice cannot wait another day," she added.
Grijalva’s signature secured the final support needed to require the House to hold a vote on whether to make Epstein-related records fully accessible to the public.
The Arizona Democrat, who won a special election on Sept. 23 to succeed her late father, Rep.
Raul Grijalva, who passed away in March, played a decisive role in pushing the measure forward.
