Turkey defeats Greece in easy win to EuroBasket 2025 final
(MENAFN) Türkiye secured a commanding 94-68 victory over Greece on Friday, earning a spot in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 final.
The Turkish team dominated from the start, carrying a 49-31 lead into halftime at Arena Riga in Latvia. Ercan Osmani led all scorers with 28 points and six rebounds, while Alperen Sengun recorded a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds. Cedi Osman contributed 17 points, and Shane Larkin added 14.
For Greece, Kostas Sloukas scored 15 points, and Giannis Antetokounmpo achieved a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, but their efforts fell short.
Türkiye will face Germany in Sunday’s final, while Greece will compete against Finland in the third-place matchup.
